Art class

Colleen volunteered me to lead informal art class for Avery, Rosie and one of Rosie's friends each Tuesday night. It's only an hour but that's about all the kids seem to be able to handle.
So far we've drawn or painted pumpkins, borrowed off of the front step, and gnarly, diseased pears from the sickly pear tree in the back yard. Last night I introduced fabric to try to get the kids to draw the folds. Between giving them suggestions or words of encouragement I spent a few frantic minutes drawing the pears myself.
