This early piece by Avery has long been a source of mystery and great artistic discussion. Some art historians claim they see a pink pig with a large black bee on its rump. Others see a mutant lamb. The recreation on the right is my interpretation of the masterpiece as a bee in a pink flower while a benevolent sun glares down somewhat menacing from above.
